In 1999, two prominent specialty eye groups, Retina Associates of East Tennessee, P.C. and Retina Associates, P.C. of Chattanooga, joined forces to become Southeastern Retina Associates, P.C. (SERA).

The new medical practice assembled a dedicated group of experienced specialists to provide state of the art diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical care for patients with vitreoretinal diseases and disorders. Our physicians are specially trained medical doctors as well as skilled surgeons in the field of retinal and vitreous ophthalmology.

Our doctors are members of numerous professional societies, including the American Medical Association, The Tennessee Medical Association, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Individually, they actively belong to additional community and professional groups.
